| Existing Like Lotus, at Home in the Muddy Water

It's been awhile since I've come out of my shell here, so to speak. Mostly because I don't have anything to say, and yet...so much I could. Daily life is the same old same, jobs are still eluding me, the "kids" still need to be attended to and cleaned up after, the wedding is fast approaching and I am just exsisting.
I feel like the world is flying by me faster than I can keep up and at the same time, it feels like my days stretch endlessly before me offering no new excitement. That's not to say I haven't been busy, because I have. Just not in the ways that would thrill me to no end-getting the county job (still haven't heard), winning the lottery (I guess I'd have to actually play), anything extraordinary (but then again, I am just ordinary).
I've still been watching and reading up on my people here. Just playing "sitting duck" I guess, waiting for something. I'm just not sure yet what that something is.
