My thighs are killing me....not from that you perv!  I was horseback riding yesterday.  AAaahhh, the life of unemployed luxury I tell you.  However, yesterday was my 4th day of massive migraine and due to that-Aaron and I spent a very unromantic evening in ER.  Again.  Let me give you all the ways we were made comfortable and welcomed:

1.  My "room" was right next to the bathroom-I heard everyone in the building pee, flush and wash/not wash their hands.  A lot of people start and stop a lot.
2.  On the other side of our accomodations was the ambulance entrance-some one had the nerve to go into respiratory failure three times.
3.  A couple of not-so-busy employees stood right outside my door and discussed the chocolate cake someone brought in with great detail and interest...for twenty minutes.
4.  The girl who put my IV in was very green/new as made evident by the amount of blood I lost AFTER she thoroughly inspected both arms for a vein....I was under the impression that the big blue line running down the inside of my elbow was a vein.
5.  I spent exactly two and a half minutes talking to the nurse practitioner who ordered I be shot up with ____ pain meds and be given a prescrip for Vicodin....I was then shown the door.

Oh, the joys of it all.  Anywho-as you can probably tell, I am feeling much like my spunky old self today.  Maybe it's the drugs?  Just so I don't end up on that show "Intervention"-I tell you if someone wants to do a "documentary" on me and my pain meds...I WILL know that something is up.
