I had a strange dream last night. I went to a place where I knew my father would be and when he showed up he starting yelling and screaming at me for walking out of his life. Everytime I tried to say something he just kept yelling. Finally I held up my left hand and pointed at my engagement ring and said, "Do you know what this is?" and he went quiet. Then I said, "If you go to rehab, clean your ass up and STAY clean-then I'll tell you WHEN the wedding is. And if you can pass a drug test on that day, then I'll tell you WHERE the wedding is. Do you understand me?"
Then in my dream he started to cry and he showed me where he hid his coke and heroine. After that he got into this taxi to leave and he kept looking at me and crying. And I felt nothing. Absolutely nothing. And all I said to him was "clean it up" and then I walked away and the taxi left. And I just felt cold and numb towards him, not hopeful or happy or anything.
That was it. Any Freud's out there want to tell me what your spin on that is? Just weird. |

hi ladie!
i've never been one to read meaning into dreams. i had a scarey one a couple nights ago but i don't believe it MEANS anything...
...although it's strange that you would dream about your father AND your wedding as though that situation has been on your mind..
dunno...

Taken from my dream book dictionary from my packed up boxes...
Father: Speakin' to your Father: you have a suppressed longin' to lean on someone or to be guided by someone. Seein' your own Father you feel you are bringin' shame to your family and owe your father an apology.
Hmm the weddin' part, the explaination doesn't really fit into this dream...however I feel that your givin' your Father a test. Shape up, before my Weddin' cause I really want you there...What's more important, ME on by BIG DAY or The Drugs...

hiya, i love dreams as you probably know, some say your dreams mean the exact opposite of what they are, but some also say, your dreams are the feelings hidden in your subconscious!
but then i say, we'll probably never figure out what our dreams really mean, as much as we long to
i've been very helpful i can tell hehe

Dreams are kinda like the chicken... what came first the chicken or the egg? Who the hell knows... they both taste great in a sandwich though.
With out know more about your life it would be tough to place a guess on what it might mean. What I will guess at though is you have a feeling what it might mean and your really looking for someone else to say it to confirm it. Just a guess from a guy who is just as crazy and confused as the rest of you.
