My Dearest Raj:
You are one of my very best internet friends. Even though we've never met and probably never will, I feel like we have been smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee together while talking about our lives nearly every day since we "met".
I have been following your blog since the beginning of my thoughts.com exsistence. You make me laugh, you make me think, you make my life interesting. And even though you might not feel it at the moment, you make me think that you are just a really great person. Despite all of the challenges that life has given you, you still manage to view the world with humor and compassion. Those are two things that I wish more people had.
So my lovely girl, when life gets you down I want you to look at your babies and know that they know how loved they are. And if you can't do that I want you to look at your momma and think about how much she means to you, because I know she does. Now if you have done that, you know what it is to see your mother for nothing less than great. Now why in the world would you be any different as a mother? If you love your babies, which I know you do, then you have what you need and they will grow up to look at you the exact same way you look at your mom. I promise.

Thanks for reminding her what a treasure she is. She needs to hear that and I don't think she always believes me when I tell her. Or maybe I don't tell her enough because we share some of her struggles. You are a wonderful daughter and mother. Hey, kids don't come with instruction manuals and if they did, they'd probably be written in chinese! Love you, Mom.

I know there were times my mom thought she did nothing but screw me up. Well, looking back as an adult I know how hard she always tried and how much she loved/loves me. I would never ever want her to feel like she did anything wrong by me. Life is full of hills and mountains. It's how you get around them that matters in the end.
