As I scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed the house yesterday, Ginger followed me around with her drooling folds of skin called a mouth, her crooked tail making circles, her flopping ears and her unmistakeable hound "tang". I decided it might be worth the money to take her to Petco (where the pets can go) to have her groomed instead of me hauling her ass into the tub to due half as good as they would do. Not to mention that then I'd have to also scrub out the tub....again.
So today my beautiful bloodhound will be packed and loaded into my tiny 3-door Saturn and hauled first to the vet for her Rabies shot and then to the groomer's. For some reason I keep getting "flashes" of me walking my hill-billy dog through the doors and getting stared at by uppity people carrying their pups in purses. Yup, she's not your everyday dog-but she's mine.
Also, we can't have her greeting Miss Mandie tonight smelling like she's lives in a trailer park in the hills. Ok Mandie-we'll see you in about 24 hours! Drive careful and don't let that giant cock tempt you into making a detour! |

I'm sure getting the dog in the car is going to be a workout! We have a Saturn too and there are more cup holders than places to sit! It is a great car I have to admit.
