I'm sitting here perusing the blogs of friends when I came upon Easy's blog about tying up loose ends. It suddenly dawned on me that there are about a million and a half things I will never know about you and you will never know about me because we only know one another here is the Land of Blog.
All the little things that I never took the time to point out because, well, I don't normally have to when I'm making friends. In honor of that here are some things that might put the finishing touches on how you think I look, act or just exist.
I am right handed, my hands and finders are long and thin-not scary like, but what they call the "artsy" type of hands. I love going barefoot in the summer-but I love shoes just as much and horde them like some kind of freak. I have three tattoos-1 on the top of each foot (one is a moon and stars-a star for each person in my family and the outline of a running horse on my other-a bit like a cave drawing, very basic, but very distinct) and the third is a large design representing the Divine with a purple daisy on each side of it (one for me and one for Aaron)-that tattoo takes up the lower half of my back. My tongue is pierced, my eyebrow once was-now it's just a scar. I have each ear pierced four times and a gap in my front teeth. People tell me it's very "Madonna", I think they're just trying to be nice.
What else? I am really quiet, introverted and self-sufficient in the real world-it takes me a long time to let people in. When I'm sad I listen to sad music and sing with it, when I've got attitude I listen to ass-kicking chick music and pretend I'm all badass in my Splaturn. I have a lot of facial expressions...sometimes Aaron calls me "face" because of it-even though it was originally I who called him that.
When I'm nervous I yawn and stretch a lot, when I'm tired I get cranky, when I'm mad the filter between my brain and my mouth breaks down, when I'm anxious (or bored) I pick at my nails-I know bad habit. Speaking of bad habits, I love smoking. I don't just do it because I'm addicted (which I am), I do it because I LIKE to do it. Menthol Lights. Aaahh. But I really don't like to drink, so I hardly ever do.
I love animals and everything outdoorsy (when it's warm). Most of the time I'd rather sit and play with your dog/cat/ferret/lizard/snake/chinchilla/etc. than talk and go out with you. I'm a person who is very much "inside myself" most of the time.
I paint (watercolors mostly), read tarot cards, read just about any type of book, work with my horse. I collect antiques-mostly 1800's womens stuff (ie: Marcel Irons, sterling silver earrings and necklaces from a certain designer from the 40's, compacts, brooches, lamps, funeral hats with the black veil, all kinds of goodies). Hmm, what else can I tell you? What else do you care to know?

Oh LG, I loved reading this, Very interesting, and I like you more for sharing :)
Maybe we need to get the QOD going again so we can learn more about each other.
The thing that sticks with me about your recent sharing is the TAROT cards. I have a hidden interest in this as I've said before. I'd love to sit down with you and learn from you. Obviously that's not going to happen in the near future. But still it's something that intrigues me.
I love animals too. Makes me a soft person sometimes :)
Okay, gotta go. Thanks again really great reading about you. Might have to do one myself :)

I'm not so sure about the Tarot cards.... but it was interesting to learn your quirky details.
Love the part about when you are mad your filter breaks down. I do my best to avoid that but I suffer a little of the same. =)

I really like this blog! Loved getting to know more about you. We sound alike in lots of ways.
Good post. I think you should take different "face" pics and post them here. I'd love to see them.

Wow readin' this blog is like almost readin' about myself, minus the tatts.
That is a great idea writin' a blog about yourself...Hmm, I just may take this idea from you and run with it. Well, actually I don't run, unless it's somethin' really, really, really important.
