| Bible-thumping Hypocrites

Here I am, watching "Intervention" and working on wedding stuff (SURPRISE). The "addict" just happens to be a lesbian. Her mom, dad and sister all come on talking about how the bible says that is a sin and blah blah blah, if she could just stop it and have a relationship with a boy like "she's suppossed to", then God would just make her drug issue go away. Are you freakin' kidding me?
No wonder this poor chic is addicted to meth. She grew up in the bible-thumping Midwest like I did. Her being a lesbian in such a tolerant atmosphere surely couldn't have inspired her to reach for the needle. What a joke. Same people who preach love and tolerance are so quick to grab the first stone.
I am so angry right now. Not because of the drugs-I understand drugs, I've been there, but these people who are on national tv trying to "intervene" and save a life. Perhaps a hard dose of reality and tolerance would be a more effective start. People are idiots. These people should be there for their daughter and support her and back her up when she falls on her ass, not give her a list of things considered "sins" and tell her that is why she is a failure. They make me sick.

Watching it and thinking pretty much the same thing. I too am a sad little mid-westerner lol I feel ya I love this show!

I really dislike that show...they always show people shooting up & that is yucky! :p
Good luck with the wedding planning, sounds like you are having a super fun time with it...or something like that. Ha!
