I have had a migraine since Friday. Beautiful pain, leave me alone. I don't really want to waste my time on you. (That was me talking to the headache, not you) I've been on the phone with my Neurologist 2x already and I've only been here for 20 minutes. I am tired of being a guinea pig-just give me the big drugs, nothing else is working.
Because of the headache I went home early yesterday from work. Got home to find my ferret having problems breathing and going into little convulsions. I held him and he died. It broke my heart. He was my baby. I know some people will say "it's just an animal, get over it", but he was something-one of those animals that had it been born into the wild it wouldn't have survived. He was tiny, half the size of a normal ferret. He was never agressive and did not really like to play like the others. He preferred to be held and cuddled. He was a momma's boy. Instead of exploring with his brother he liked to follow me and crawl up my pant leg until I picked him up. And if you called his name, he would run to you. Such a sweet boy. He was 5 1/2. That was the first time in a long time that I cried. My great uncle died last week and I didn't even cry. That's sad. They say deaths and births come in three's...I wonder who will go next?

i am so sorry, ladieg! loss is loss no matter who it is and you were probably closer to your ferret than to your uncle. i hope your headache gets better soon. migraines can really take alot out of you. sending you good vibes!

Sorry to hear about your ferret. They aren't "just animals" , they are loving souls that share our lives. We have a right to miss them and grieve for them when their gone. * Hugs Girlie * Hope you feel better soon.

Aww poor little guy. It was so hard when I lost my ferret a year and a half ago. Those lil guys are so sweet and loving and so much fun to watch play. I hope you feel better.

Hi LG,
the loss of a pet is one of the most stressful things an animal lover can go through. Really sorry to hear about your ferret. What was his name?
We lost our cat less than a year after we got him. He was all black with yellow eyes and the picture of the cat in the sink reminded me of him.
