Although I may only be graduating from high school I can look back now and say that I have grown and learned a lot through these past four years. I have made good friends and I have lost good friends, I have had romances and found true love, I have also lost that love, I have learned things that can only be taught through experience, I have had many successes but I have also failed. But through it all I have found myself and figured out who I truly am and who I want to be.
I am a strong individual who knows her limitations. I am a hopeless romantic who cares about everyone before herself. I am strong willed and sometimes stubborn. I am willing to stand up for what I believe in no matter who disagrees. I am willing to learn from my mistakes and grow from my failures. I am willing to grow as an individual and try to make life the best that I can possibly make it.
I want to continue to be all of those things and more. I want to be confident and love myself in my entirety. I want to become successful and help others. I want to be a mother, a wife, a grandmother. I know it’s cliché but I want to dance like no one’s watching, sing like no one’s listening, work like I don’t need the money, love like I’ve never been hurt and live like every day was my last. But most of all I want to be myself and be happy.
Now for what I have learned:
About girls:
- They will always talk shit just to make themselves feel better
- They will always stick their noses into other girls’ business
- They do dumb things just to get guys’ attention
- They need to realize they should just be themselves
- They need to not dress like school is a fashion show
- They need to realize school is for learning not picking up guys
- They need to stand up for themselves and prove they are capable of many things
- They need to do things for themselves not others
- They are dumb
- Girls are drama, drama, drama, and more drama
About boys:
- They are stupid
- They need to do things for themselves not others
- They should follow their heart
- Some can be good guys when they want to be
- Most of the good ones are either gay or already taken.
- They treat you different when around different people
- They hate feeling whipped but they usually are deep down
- They never want you to know that they really care
- Sometimes they treat you horribly but they usually don’t realize it
- And sometimes they treat you horribly on purpose
- But for the most part… boys cause drama, drama, drama, and more drama
