 Troy In Beijing
July 17, 2008--

OK...so here I am in Beijing. I think that I've finally got caught up on my sleep. Been working at the Athlete's Village, working in the staff dining room. The main dining area is not open yet, so we are just feeding staff...whether they work for ARAMARK, or somewhere in the village. We are serving about 2200 lunches per day. Next week we add dinner service into the mix.

Not real sure what my role is going to be yet. I just jumped in at staff dining because that's where the action is.

Haven't got too crazy with the food yet in dining out. Though it is dirt cheap. The past two night's dinners were huge portions, and they ran about $60-$70RMB...which translates to about $10.00 US! Awesome prices!

Had to complete a medical exam the other morning. Had to bring a "sample" to the exam. If you didn't, they took it right there. Didn't really want to be subjecting myself to that scene...so I was sure to bring the sample.

Not too much else right now. Working and getting caught up on sleep. Will update more soon...
