| is jesus a mythlogy????????????

i do respect the christian community but one thing that has bothered me is is jesus real or not. why should we ask this question is because christians(people who believe in the bible) believe that jesus came to this planet sent from god with speacial powers that could heal in the most amazing of ways
and he came back to live and then disappeared, doesn't that sound a bit like egyptian and hindu gods
may differ a bit but similiar wait a sec isn't egyptian and hindu gods mythlogy. so what makes jesus
differen???

The story of Jesus Christ may be a myth. I may never know. All religions are mythological works, as far as I can tell. I enjoy exploring the parables within well-conceived fables. What is described as narcissism doesn't appeal to me. I also wouldn't want to appear as though I'm the Anti-Christ. I'm not an enthusiast of Greek folkore or Christian, for that matter.
I don't know how Jesus is different than Hercules; nor Zeus from what other people call “the” God. I like your post and hope people with differing opinions will respond to it. You are very brave, by the way. :)

I know that Jesus was no myth, but you have to decide for yourself-on faith-what you believe. I'm so thankful that you are asking questions, It is important to be a seeker! You have to know that your beliefs are your own, not just something that you grew up with or somthing that may be popular with the culture. I'll be praying for you.
