 new endings
so my boyfriend and i decided to take a break. oh yeah, its all the rage nowadays...no longer do relationships end in breakups, we do this new thing called "a break." let me tell you what fun it is!
its not.
all it really means is that you have chosen to prolong the inevitable conclusion of your time spent together, preventing yourself and the other party from any recovery they might have made after having broken up, and forcing yourself to re-think and re-consider all the unspoken rules that go alongside this newfangled trend.
are you allowed to see other people?
in this case, NO.
basically we are turning ourselves temporarily into celibate beings. non-dating humans in this date-obsessed world. we can go out, have fun with friends, drink, party, live it up, shake your junk on the dance floor...but no flirting, no kissing, no alone time with any member of the opposite sex. and until we break the spell and decide for good that this relationship cannot be salvaged even after a little time apart from each other to get our bearings.
i don't know i don't know i don't know.

Hey a break is not a new thing, my ex-husband did it to me many times in the 10 years we dated. My advice to you is go HAVE FUN! Don't miss out on anything because of being on a break! Because I did miss out and did do the right thing by my ex- but he didn't - and it left me looking like a fool. Find out what you enjoy doing and DO IT!
Good Luck

A break?
If 2 people can not work things out when they are together they will not be able to work them out while they are apart.
Go out and have a good time, do what your heart desires.
Good-luck!

This goes to what I've been saying. Is any of this worth it?

In some cases, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
I took a break from my husband of 22 years, we just had too many issues, and we even dated others.
It was a hard time in our lives, but it sure put a fire back in our relationship!
I am not exaggerating, a little jealousy goes a looooooooong way.
It made us stop taking each other for granted.
I thought I would regret it, but it is the best thing that ever happened to us.
I will never take his love for granted again.
I hope you get the same results.
Peace.
