So I figured since normally I only get the urge to write on this thing when i'm angry or annoyed it might be a nice change to do it when i'm perfectly content.
Today I went to coffee and a movie with one of my really good friends that I haven't seen in a couple months. She brought her friend Jo to coffee. Let me just say...I'm pretty much in love with this kid! Well, not actually, but he is pretty cool. We hit it off pretty well, because he is like the male version of me (we have the same sense of humor, career goals, rules...etc). Anyway, he invited me to his birthday party in a couple weeks and to go play mini golf with him (because i was bragging about how amazing i am at it). It totally wasn't a fake invite either, you know the kind where you are like oh yeah you should come..., but you don't supply any information. No, he told me the date and gave me his number and asked if it was ok if he got mine from my friend.
I love meeting new people, but it's even more great when you meet someone and you just hit it off. We were talking for an hour with no awkward pauses or dull small talk...it was like he was one of my good friends. He even said when we were leaving he felt like we had been friends for years.
Who knows...maybe something will happen...
