 I broke the "Guy Code"
So it’s been a couple weeks, and things have somewhat changed. M and I are just really good friends right now. Actually sometimes he’s more like a big brother or my best friend; although sometimes I do still find myself liking him a little…but only a little sometimes. Anyway, I have been hanging out with him and his best friend J a lot.

J has a complicated relationship with my friend Kelly. They have been “together” (for lack of a better word) for about a year. Spending so much time with J, I have learned that he now has a girlfriend; however, he hasn’t told Kelly this and still hangs out with her frequently. For the past two weeks they (J and M) have had me lie to her about who I am with and what they were doing and also about J’s gf S. I HATE lying and told they that they needed to tell Kelly what was going on or that I was.

So when Kelly pulled me aside one night and asked me what was going on I told her it was none of my business. But then she asked, “ in my opinion, if I were to spend time with J and S or J and her which one would I think he was dating.” Well, I told her the truth…S. And now J isn’t speaking to me and M is mad at me. I feel like Kelly had a right to know, and she had done the same for me just a few months ago, sooo…I owed her that much.   But apparently I broke the guy code...
