The majority of my friends are a year or two older than me; however, I'm actually more mature than most of them, except for sexually. They all treat me like a little kid just because I have never had sex. Last night I was talking to Mike and Kelly on the phone and we were all watching the same tv show. They kept saying things like, "Kels you shouldn't watch this part its too explicit for your eyes," or when the only for mature audiences warning came on they were like "Kels change the channel quick." Everyone always perceives me as this completely innocent and sheltered girl. What I don't understand is why they think this when none of them actually know the full details of my private life. Just because I don't tell everyone about my personal life, doesn't mean I don't have one!

I know exactly what you are talking about.
I know what you mean. It can get really annoying really fast. I was never sheltered. This is what I did to my friends that did that to me. I told the ones who were acting like that..That i was a virgin and I was mature enough to make my own decisions.
If that doesn't work I would suggest to find friends on your maturity level.
It helps...

Hey Kelsey,
Dont listen to them. It doesnt matter whether you are a virgin or not, its them with the problem. They probably lost there virginity to some asshole who they now hate. Good luck for the future

I hate the fact that virginity these days is regarded as cute, stupid, naive, and "bad" in general, rather than the virtuous thing that it really is.
