 Lost My Job
So I applied for a job at a cd store somehwere in november and yeah I've worked a couple of shifts there not many but a few. And now they've given me a couple of other shifts and said they have to let me go, I know they were keeping on some of the other people who were employed when I was, but I feel like I wasn't given a fair go. I didn't get many shifts and when I did they were far apart, and they never put me at the desk so all I was ever doing was filing. I think they did use me just for the seasonal work and there was never a chance of staying on with them.

Now I'm kind of thinking to myself they can stick their two pissy little 3 hr shifts they've given me before I finish. What do you guys think? Ones on a saturday and they haven't even given me a weeks notice on it. I dunno. I could call it my own little revenge on them being so lame. I was chasing the roster at one stage, but it's a bit hard when they PROMISE it will be out the saturday before the next week and then it's not out until that monday. I think it's a bit weak what do you guys think? I need some advice, Am I being bitter because I was rejected or should I really take my revenge and not turn up to my last shifts?

it was a hard lesson for me to learn but it's not a very good thought to plot and execute "revenge." especially in a working environment. pls remember that there are other doors that you just have to watch out for when you do lose your job.

Ah it just seemed like they used me and didn't give me an opportunity to prove myself at all. :(

just stick it out for the 2 shifts. it looks better putting summer job (christmas casual) on a resume than i sort revenge by not showing up... and u can still use then as a refrence if its a christmas cas.

Lol. I'm very much the kind of person who will just get to the day of the shift and go "screw them" but we'll see. It's one of my new years resolutions not to be so bitter with complete moron bosses.
