  • Fridays...

    Always give me the buzz even though I'm not working at the moment.  I know folks who are in the labour market heave a big sigh of relief on Fridays.  

    Well I'm unemployed.  Everyday I do almost the same thing. Routines bore me. But I have no choice. At present.  

    I applied for a job this morning. I'll wait till next week, else I'll keep surfing the net and looking for something interesting to do.  

    Twitter and Facebook got attacked as y'all know.  I don't understand why my internet connection is crawling...I did pay my bill. I'm wondering if my internet provider has been attacked by some unknown creatures too? Bah...

    I have yet to register with the local library.  I have no books to read.  It's been too long.   

    I think watching TV will be my new addiction - again - since I've discovered Dexter! 

    Which reminds me...I need to look for the previous episodes online.  I still want to know how it all started.

    Okay.  Time for me to raid the kitchen otherwise I'll die from starvation. *rolling eyes*

  • Another Bleak Morning

    Good Morning!

    I woke up to another bleak morning.  It's raining.  I'm feeling a bit nippy.  I'd like to have a smoke but I'm doing my best not to.  I haven't smoked in 4 days.  

    Had my breakfast instead and I'm still frustrated.  

    There's so many things I wana do but I can't...

  • Just A Feeling...

    This morning I woke up to heavy grey clouds, winds and a blocked ear.  As always I had my morning shower hoping that today would be uneventful.  You know it's too calm sometimes that inevitably something will go down.  And yet as I sit on my porch, drinking a cuppa, I'm feeling light and excited (?).  I will enjoy the cool breeze until all hell breaks loose.  It always gets worse before it gets better.

    I live in hope.

  • The 80-20 Rule!

     Before I start my short story, let me explain the 80-20 rule to those who are unaware of its existence.  Strictly speaking about relationships, the rule says that 80% of most men's needs get taken care of by a wife or a partner and still they are inclined to look for someone else for the remaining 20%.  

    Years ago, I met Mr. 80.   I was being courted in the way a girl dreams of.  Everything was going fine until I met Mr. 20.  My whole being knew it was wrong but I was too weak to resist his charm.  And in his bed I fell!  Mr. 20 can only be Mr. 20. So I thought.  Over a course of a year, he turned into Mr. 80!  I still ask myself how it happened and sheets and wooden floor come to mind! 

    And now four years later he's no longer Mr. 80 but Mr. 100!

  • Purely Random

    I've stumbled on this site while looking for a way to integrate two different blogging platforms into a single one.  I'm not sure if it's possible but after writing my first entry on thoughts.com I'll continue with my search.  

    So this is my first post on here.  I'm currently blogging on Blogger and Opendiary (mini-bolgging under a pseudo).  And now I'm here.  The best way to find out about the features offered by thoughts.com is to start posting.  

    Let's see for how long I'll be on here!
