I will give you props if you tell me where I got my title. It is easy so hopefully you will all get props. No googling either that would be very pathetic.
So it was Opening night for The Barber of Seville last night, and there I sat backstage doing the thing I said I would never do again (stage manager). I was thinking why did I say yes!!! I should have said no...I should be thinking about where my next entrance is instead of when the next lighting cue is coming. I know that sounds a little conceited but I really don't think this type of job is good for me. I know that I can do the job rather well its just All I do is worry about doing something wrong. I have been thinking about last nights show all day long. I made a few small mistakes, but there were also some really big ones that weren't my fault but they feel like they were. I had to just get it out there, because maybe I can not think about it anymore and just think about doing better tomorrow afternoon for all the cute old people coming to the show.
