The defining silent moments of our lives fall on days when faith in this hopeless, unforgiving, yet staggeringly beautiful humanity is gained or lost; when love is born and set ablaze or lost and incinerated left writhing and alone in a stone ditch; when regret is no longer used to tie the words "if" and "then" into a neat little manic bow.
The defining silent moments of our lives often go unrecognized because we as people seem to fear the importance of our silences, but they save us in ways that we cannot or choose not to accept.
