 The Cenotaph - Remembrance Service
A most poignant and as per usual, heart touching service held earlier this morn, here in the U.K

Please read and remember them and what they suffered and, are still suffering to the present day along with the families left behind also.
Bless you.

(Please also, respect that the USA observe Veterans Day on the 12th as well as the 11th. The U.K observe it Sunday 11th, today ..soft smile)

Remember them not just today and tomorrow, remember them always, they are in our hearts and minds.

"We will remember them" - one and all.

It's just a tremendous shame that these wonderful men women and children are not 'remembered' on a daily basis. Maybe our country wouldn't be such an open sewer of foreigners, and maybe we'd have a sense of Nationality, a sense of Pride and Integrity - hey who knows maybe even a backbone!

even66, I believe most are - gentle nod and smile - but, Remembrance Day is to remind those who do not think of the troops daily etc but, mainly as a mark of sheer respect, the day is held to mark all those past, present and sadly, future - those deceased, the families of the troops, the ones who survived, the ones left disabled, the vets - to make sure we do not forget - ever.

I 100% agree with you kentlass, RESPECT, for those that have and will continue to give so much for this abomination of a country. That's my point - these heroic people did and do this for what? They must be turning in their graves to see just what their country has become. I am ashamed to call myself 'english'
