Ahh now, thought that might grab your attention - lil laugh, will explain more later.
Back to yesterday, before hearing the sad news about J passing over [ again, my deepest thanks to those who kindly left messages, they will be and have been passed on the 'V'..soft smile]
Was a lovely and glorious sunny day yesterday, was able to get out - yay, spent a long time out - is good as most of our local and tiny village shops are open [again, must stress, this is just our 'local' lil set of shops - not the main 'high street' for the area]
Whilst gabbing away, cracking some naughty jokes and having general chit chats with people whom I both knew and didnt know, was good, also, the pub was busy, so plently of people I knew were there hanging outside drinking their pints [aye, my debt paid off, went over and paid for his pint and promised for England losing - bahhhh humbugggget]
Local petshop has started opening sunday and as I am a regular customer, local and am well known in the village, they asked me to pass the word around to let everyone know they would now be opening every sunday- was funny, they had the rabbits out in hutches and well, the two male rabbits kept humping each other ..hehe, poor L he tried to separate them and got bitten - as I said to him, serves him right, how would he like it if he was erm, 'interupted' shall we say during humping - heck, we couldnt help but bust up laughing, even the kiddies wanted to know what the lil bunnies were doing..suffice to say, we all just said 'playing' they seemed content with that answer - phew - laughing.
As for the shop asking, course, said I'd pass the word around and that I'd had a lil idea and would be back later - so after spending several hours out, came home, got on my comp and made some flyers for the shop - toddled back along there and got several printed off in the dvd shop, then went and presented them to the petshop - they loved them, they asked if they owed me anything and I said no, simply because they are always giving me lil freebies for my dog, so I spent what? £1.50 on the copies, so I think all the treats my dog gets more than pays for them - so that was my gift to the shop [ these are the 3rd set of owners whom have owned the petshop thats been in the last 12+ years]
Then course, got home, did some chores etc and then got the knock on the door from 'V' and heard the news ..sigh - so thats why it was a tad up and down day yesterday as you can imagine.
Okay, the naked part - haha, meant that this morn was woken up early as norm, this time to the sound of a rather grumbly machine outside - they had started thinning out and cutting the boughs off the huge oak opposite - is half done now, but poor tree does look so 'naked' now - but it really had grown and was getting dangerous and is/was literally a few metres away from my window [and yes, oak trees are protected and can not be felled unless diseased] so anyway, the try is having a rather drastic 'haircut'.
[just hope they remember to come back and do the other side!]
otherwise, I am okay, managed to eventually sleep and get out again today - had to send a bra back via the local post office [yes, been testing bra's out over w/e] am currently waering a brand new and rather pretty one now - the 'old' was looked rather sorry for it self and the bra I sent back was baaad - made me look like I had four boobies instead of two - blink blink
so the puppies have got decent scaffolding again and bra is comfy - okay, so you really wanted to know all that didnt you?? - not ..laughing
Off the read a few blogs then must quickly do some chores, get Mums dinner on etc, fed the mutty oh, guess I'd better eat something too, may eat that cupcake now bede

Btw for I go - just curious, I have seen many posts with just one view, yet they have 5 stars? does that mean they have rated themselves? and erm, why would you rate your own blog - or is that a silly question? - just wondering

Sounds nice where you are. Glad it started off as a good day at least.
The rating thing means either ppl have rated their own blog, (whether they think its one of their best or not so good, etc) to start others off and encourage everyone to rate or it might be that others have rated it but just didnt bother leaving a comment. Hope that clears things up a bit? lol

i wish i lived in a little village where you get to know the people around you - although i guess that has some ups and downs!
re: rating; i really wish people were more forthcoming with comments - if you rate it then you have an opinion to express, no?

Oh good, glad you love them also, great band are they not.
bdsm, its good, though yes, has its up and downs, but will point out, we are not a 'tiny' village, the village is just a small bit - but mostly [those who have really lived here all their lives, are really friendly/close]

hugs and snugs all - better get back to check the oven, else my poor mum will have burnt offerings for dinner ..lol

We had wonderful sunshine yesterday as well. I enjoyed your pictures and the video was luverly. I have only just found how to watch them. As for the scaffolding, I agree it is necessary for it to be correct for comfort. I am sure the oak will be back in the spring.
It took me weeks to realize the rating thing was there. It never occurred to me that I could rate my own blog. What a strange thought.
Hope you enjoyed your dinner.
