 Monday eve

ask me of my dreams
upon this summers dying day
and listen to my heart
whisper of
joy

for the autumn is coming
on silent colourful wings
bringing an end to the endless days

finally I shall fly
through the crisp night
and soar on the breath of my dreams

yes woman time grows slow
as trees turn gold
cry with the winter rain
for the summer child you once were
night follows like a silent friend
upon dreams of magical music
whispering snowy songs
of peace and home

The summer baked grain
rolls
slowly
in the warm breeze
tasting of yesterday

the sunset bleeds
into the leaves
of tired trees

lazy car headlights echo
the firefly's last
light

as I follow the setting sun westward
trying futilely to hold on to today

Okay, so thought being Autumn time for most, seemed apt poem to pen.. thus starting off with that tonight - as I have been out in the fresh air alot today and actually enjoyed every moment.
I am the sort of person that absorbs everything that happens all sights/sounds/images around me - more leaves have fallen today, been a slight breeze, cool in the shade, but wait for it - we had sun [yes, the U.K does see it sometimes] so all in all? a most beautiful day.

Been and had my painblock for my neck/shoulder [not a moment too soon] and, was and still is the only regular hospital appt I actually look forward to going to - so, am aching, but it will take the edge off of at least one of my physical pain probs.
By heck, the pain clinic is changing more each time I attend, the new name for the hospital is in place - wont reveal the name, but it sounds more what you'd call a bar or pub, not a hospital - but, its looking good inside and this particular hospital caters for many, for pain clinic/pregnancy/minor a&e unit [no wards or such like] the actual hospital was going to be pulled down, but too many in that area stopped it thankfully, so, its been slowly rebuilt and made more modern - its a very old hospital, caters for alot of areas/districts, so they are getting there - it was strange going into a different entrance to normal, but its looking really nice, just a case of getting used to it - although, as stated, its not a 'main' hospital or anything, but its great to see they are using our taxes well.

Had Mum with me, she enjoys the bus journey, there are several routes and some are more sort of rural type area, so its nice - plus, its free travel for Mum as she is OAP and as I am reg disabled, I have a free bus pass too, again, grateful for that, especially hospital visits, if I dont get a cab or hospital transport [depends where I am going, the time of appt and course, location of hospital annnnnd, how I actually feel/am on the day]

but you know something? I feel 'lighter' in mood, alot brighter touch wood [yep, I always touch wood] I feel a tad more in control, more settled [happy I have comp back] and at the moment, seem to be steady in my mood, which is good for me.. Am fully aware it may not last, but, when I feel happy, its lovely, I feel 'normal' and life feels easier - usual motto, take each moment of each day and live it how you can.

Went into my members chatsite, left a note in both my open rooms there, then went back to having a play around with pspXI and photo impact [didnt feel upto blogging last night, just read and replied to some here] got my MSN back okay, set up my mic and headphones okay - so at the mo, all is well
..well, 'cept my arm, tis hurting like hell, but thats usual for a few days after the block and I will have to take my pk's as my back has been terrible of late, more than normal, so am sitting and trying to rest best I can.

Coffee, I need a coffee, sorry not much to blog this eve, funny, you have so much to say, so much in your mind - that you forget it all when you go to type it, nevermind. [am female, am allowed to forget..lol]

take care for now xo

..zoooooooooms out for her coffee

I enjoyed the poem, very appropriate. I live in Kent too and it has been a beautiful day. I am glad that you were able to enjoy it.

You seem to be very good with computers. I have been trying for two days to find the correct socket for my camera. Please can you tell me what pspXI is?

Hi bede [thanks for the cupcake btw]
noticed you did when I read your blog and aye, been a beautiful day, if albeit a lil chilly in the shade.

not doing too bad with comp am I?, used to used webtv internet before my cable company removed it - hence, feb this year, took the plunge, bought my first ever comp.
hope you find the correct socket or whatever it is? have you tried google, or online pc/camera suppliers, they should be able to help [fraid I do not own a digi camera]
oh, paint shop pro XI and Photo Impact 12, really good and they keep me occupied and out of trouble [mostly]

This describes my mood exactly this morning, looking out at the trees and snow covered mountains.
Lovely poem.
I hope you feel better soon.
Thank you for the lovely comments.
Peace
