Story of my life: I just wrote this really long blog in my about me section and when I copied and cut it, planning on pasting it here, it DIDN'T WORK. Because why would it?
So my brother got a Wii and normally I hate all video games but I thought I'd give it a try. Now, I am not what you would call athletically gifted or talented, right, but I didn't think it would carry over into my video game playing. Apparently so. Basically I suck. And how bad can you be at swinging a little plastic remote control corresponding to the sport you know? I mean these technological things have grudges against me? I am so incredibly awful at anything electronic even computers and cell phones and the sad thing is I am the GENERATION of technology!
My whole reason for up and starting this blog thing is because I'm taking a break from myspace. Actually I've turned myspace-orexic, I'm starving myself. Actually I gave it up for lent and it's killing me (a little bit), but I'm strong. And I haven't even been to church once during this whole lental season. I'm supposed to be Catholic, but I'm kind of in the middle of an internal struggle with myself and my beliefs so I think I'm taking a break from church, so why the heck am I still doing lent I do not know.
Anyways, with my myspace purge my expression outlets were limited and I really like being able to just type my thoughts zippity quick. Don't get me wrong, I journal and everything and in truth blogging actually discourages my writing, but sometimes it is just so slow you know?
So looking forward to school tomorrow. Not. High school is so incredibly boring. Maybe it's just mine. But I constantly find myself looking forward to the future. Like NEXT week and NEXT month and NEXT year. Instead of living the here-and-now. The boring here and the boring now.
We started this Jane Austen Book Club..me and some friends. We're on our first book, Sense and Sensibility. If you've seen the movie you know the priceless role that the only male member Grigg plays. And we are searching for our Grigg, you know, an awkward, funny, cute, nerdy boy who will actually read Jane Austen. You wouldn't believe how difficult that search is. Is there even one?
