| Weekend Update |
Boy oh Boy another weekend out of the way!! Now that my children are in bed asleep it's time to relax with my laptop on this very warm Sunday night.
My girls were at their dads this weekend, and considering it was a child-free weekend, I really didn't do alot. I spent Friday night with a friend - We bought fish and chips for dinner and watched the Friday night movie "How to lose a guy in 10 days" Hilarious!! That movie reminds me so much of the whole dating scene and the "getting used to" part that comes with dating and that great journey of finding that certain someone. It really freaks me out a little as 12 months on and I am still single!! I just haven't found that "Mr Right" person and guys that I have met - well we just don't "click".
Don't get me wrong I like being single.. I like that I run a household my way, dinner is my choice - unless the girls request something they really like. But you see what I mean, I like the freedom of coming and going as I please.. I guess to sum it up.. no one to answer to.
But the downside to be single.... no one to snuggle up to at night, no one to crap on to about my day Lol, no one's jokes to laugh to at.
I am definitely not lonely though, as I have many friends who keep me sane and keep me going on this journey of mine. But yes I will not deny that a special person in my life would be nice...Complete the picture I guess.
And I have two great girls who I have to consider in a relationship aswell. My eldest Caitlyn now 11 says to me, "Mum if you're happy then we will be happy". Bless her, she is my little trooper. Allie my youngest will be the one that I think will have the hardest time adjusting to new changes in mummies lovelife. But we will cross that bridge when we come to it...Well that's what they say
But anyway that's my head at the moment and I am glad to have shared it with my Thoughts friends
Getting back to the weekend update of this blog, I spent yesterday and today cleaning and rearranging the girls room and pretty much the house Lol. I sort of had an OCD moment which turned into a weekend and I had to change things around. The girls room was the biggest task and I found that they have just too much junk!! I got rid of clothes, toys..well anything that wasn't getting used or worn - Clutter I like to call it and it's Spring time here so what better time to have a spring clean out!!
I know, I know, it's not the best thing to be doing on a "my time" weekend, but I actually felt a feeling of accomplishment when I had finished. The girls keep their room clean but I love to get in there and rearrange things - they don't like that so much Lol. They soon get used to it and are amazed with how much more room they have!
So there you have it another weekend over and now it's time to get ready for the week.
I hope everyone had a great weekend
