A FALL TO REMEMBER!!

Fall...Oh how I  forgot you...How I forgot the joy you brought to my life..
Holidays at grandma's playing "leaf angels" in the leaves.
And the time grandpa and I raked the leaves all day and sang merrily.
I cannot forget the time Aunt Mimi and I made cards using the leaves that fell on her front lawn..The colours were so beautiful.
I don't think I have ever seen red, orange or yellow like your fall leaves.
I remember feeling sad when winter came as I knew I had to wait another year for you to share your beauty with me. I have never forgotten you nor forgotten how you made me feel..
Just you and me.....Free

Now my children have met you and love you just as much as I do. Their love for you will be as strong as it was with me. They love the joy that you bring to their lives and how beautiful that is to see.  So I have one last thing to say to you....

Thank you Fall....For making us happy....You will never be forgotten, for you will live on and on.......................

Seems summer isn't the only season that seems different through our childhood eyes.

to love the season each for what they are is a great preperation for life..

I agree with you Mike, you have to take the good with the bad and see what each has to offer - whether it's great or not so great. And that includes our four seasons :)
Thanks for reading
