That was awesome. I've always believed in forgiveness. I don't think I could live my life without it. How can I ever asked to be forgiven for my mistakes if I won't do the same. Thank you for sharing that. You open so many peoples eyes to what is really important in life.

Dreampower, I wish there was something I could say to you that would make you feel better right now. I know exactly how you feel. Last summer my Father nearly died, he is in his final stages of cancer and had a terrible reaction to his chemo, and was in ICU for about a month. All of his major organs started shutting down, and he was like a zombie for nearly a month. He was like a shell, didn't recognize anyone, nor could he communicate with anyone. He just twirled his blanket and stared into the other side the next dimension. We'd talk to him, I'd cry, and beg him to hear me. I am the closest to him, and I couldn't bare it. It happened so suddenly, (within a few days). His head would turn my way from time to time, but he'd look right through me. I thought someone was literally tearing my heart out. I prayed to God to punish me, to let me carry that burden, bc he is the kindess man on this earth, he has had so much loss in his life, he can't loose his memory, and the momory of his life. We prayed till it hurt, and God gave us our Dad back. At least for a while yet.
So sweetie, God I know what you are feeling, and I ache for you. But I will email you, because I want to share something Dad told me about that time. It may help you.

DreamPower, My heart does feel what you are saying, and what you are longing for. It is really the core emotion in all of us. We may think we don't NEED anyone to get by in life...and that we can manage on our own, which might be true. But to complete our lives, we DO need that other love. The one person that will know our heart, and will care for our heart, and treasure it. The one who will look into our eyes and see when we are sad, and feel when we are hurting. Some people are married, and have been for many years, and don't have that connection in their marrage, and still long for that in their lives. It's the fundamental connection of souls. Don't give up, or ever stop looking for that. I've heard stories of people being married for 30 years, and one spouse dies, and the other spouse, just by the grace of God, runs into his highschool sweetheart and they fall in love all over again, and get married and realize that love is the love that was the one that should have never got away. God works in mysterous ways Honey...Until he sends you the man you are meant to be with, he has other plans for you. Keep your eyes open for them...Watch for those open doors. Follow the plan he as set for you, that just may be where you are meant to meet Mr. Right.

TJ...you are sooo right. That is probably why I thought it was so darn funny. And turst me, I always fall into situations like this. Not "baby making" situations, but situations I get information all mixed up, and I am sooooo embarrassed later once I realized that I made a big "Ooops". I sometimes think God gave me such a light heart because I make so many "ooopsies" as I go though life, that if I took all of them so seriously, I would want to live in the dark. But I like the sunshine way to much, so I learn to forget my goof-ups and move past them. As long as they don't hurt anyone. Right?

Oh CD, It's amazing how some men can't handle any type of confrontations so they avoid them. Surely he could of explained to you why he backed away. It would have closed the doors for you and you wouldn't have to carry this weight around with you wondering what YOU could have done differently. Well Sweetheart, I'm here to tell you, YOU couldn't have done anything differently, because it wan't you. The problem lies with him. He has things he hasn't dealt with or is not ready for a one on one relationship, otherwise he wouldn't have posted he was looking for a penpal so soon after he started avoiding you. I think you did a extremey classy thing my sending him that birthday card and taking the higher road. Now i would just let it rest, as hard as it may be. If you have to fight for him this early on, he is not worth it. He should be "wowing" you. I hope none of this is too upsetting to hear, but Sweetie, I just think you are entirely too special to lower yourself to chase after him. Does this make sense? Ther's a good man out there for you. Just hand on honey!!

DS...I loved this post. I think at times we all comtemplate on how "invisible" we are in the world, or in our soul. Our bodies are here, but what are we utilizing them for? It's our souls that bring our bodies alive to make live meaningful. It's our soul we need to nourish and keep healthy. I get what you are so elequently saying. Great post!

Beautiful song Hollis. I never have the time to search for songs. I love them, but with my kids, I'm on the go all the time, and with school coming to a close soon, it's a constant "need this", "do that", "have to have this"...There are days in a week I stop and look at the time, and realize it's almost 3:00 pm and I need to go get the kids, and I haven't even had breakfast, or lunch. It's crazy. That's why I've been a little scarce on here lately. But I still think of you, and u'r always on my mind!

Brainstormer...I thought it was hilarious because for some reason, embarrassing "ironic" mistakes always seem to happen to me, so it was hilarious to even imagine what another person would have thought in a situation of that nature. I giggled until i had tears rolling down my face. I have NO IDEA where this filth comes from, but I'm sure glad it's out there!

Ok...I'm sick to my stomach right now. Just the thought of that happening is appauling. What the hell is wrong with these boys? How could they actually pour boiling water on other peoples bodies as they lied there on the ground?
Those boys need to go to prison, their parents should not be able to step up and claim "they didn't understand what they were doing". They are college age students, they understood! I have to log off now, I am physically ill.

Hi Sweetie... I think Your friend has the right to keep her own life private if it's what she wants. If she doesn't feel ready to "tell the world" about this guy, then it's not the thing to do, and it's not right for her. Who is he to make demands like that on her. He does not OWN that relationship. When and IF it ever feels right, she will open up about it and tell people. Until then, it's her private business. Her private life does not belong to the rest of the world, and he is being unreasonable to insist she release to everyone this information. It sounds to me, he is a bit jeleous, and wants everyone to know she is taken. Just my opinion. ;)

Hi there my girl TJ! OH...I'm sure I always make people wonder what I'm up too. :) I've been known to get the giggles when I think of things when I'm by myself...then other people see me and wonder what in the world I am doing. Just like yesterday, I was shopping and thought about this friend of mine who told me about these motorcycles with this really disgusting name, I busted out laughing and I was all by myself. People were looking at me so strangely, but, I made them smile! :)
