Definitely more upbeat

Wow. The last blog was a little depressing, now wasn't it?! For those of you fearing I'd gone off the deep end, let me reassure you that I haven't. We are still in SD and will be until my sister's wedding the end of June. Stephen has found us a house, and I've been reassured that it is a nice one, so hopefully he will get to move in this weekend. He should have moved in last weekend, but there were some issues with the electric meter. It is a newly remodeled three bedroom with a BACKYARD!!!! That is so great for us. I had really hoped for one, but having seen some of the housing there I was skeptical as to what he would find for us. Work seems to be going well for him, though the heat and dust are a little much. He says he's as tan as he's going to get, a.k.a he's as burned as he's going to get! My poor husband was not dermatologically designed for Texas. The boys and I will do fine, he's just going to get a lot of use out of sunscreen. :) I am keeping busy here with the boys. We are having Hayden tested for Verbal Dyslaxia, which is a form of dyslexia. It seems that this may be the root of the reading problem, though I must say he has grown by leaps and bounds in that department recently. He is now reading 15 to 20 words with minimal coaching. I am really proud of him for continuing on with few complaints. He's even improved enough now that we are beginning spelling tests. Math is still his strong suit, which is good, because it is not mine. Hadley seems to be catching on to things around here. He has such a keen eye for things, that not much escapes him; even the "rancher" words. Hudson is buzzing right along with this new personality he has developed. We're all trying to adjust to this sneaky, vibrant version of the quiet, complacent little man we all knew. God has a sense of humor, I don't care what people say! Well, just a little update. I still have my cell phone, though I don't have reception I can check my messages. Take care!!
