My mom is having surgury on Jan. 8th, she is having the lapband surgury. For those who don'nt know what the lapband is, they put a small band around your stomach(the organ, not like, the outside), than, they put a small filter to filter out the bad parts in the food, so when you eat, the band makes you feel fuller, faster, than, you lose weight. Now, my mom is doin this not for her looks, but for her health, okay a little for er looks, she is a girl, all girls are always self concious about their weight, i should know, i am. But, there are side affects, and my mom has had surguries before, just routine stuff, but my mom is just one of those people where she is like, very idk how to put this....pukey. She always gets really sick after things like that. So, I'm a little nervous about her surgury, not so much the procedure, but they way shee feels afterwards. But I guess all I can do is help her and make her feel as comfortable as possible. I'll keep everyone up to date with her.

I just had a surgery, but it wasn't the same as yor mothers. I hope she eventually gets well and is back to her normal, daily life!! ~BrunetteBombshell~
