is that some people might not need to be parents.
i'm one of them.
well, unless i grow up a lot.
however, i know of some people
who have kids
and should not.
or at least, they should have waited.
i know that sometimes pregnancies are unexpected,
and i would much rather people be mediocre parents
than have an abortion
but i just don't think some people get it.
first of all, parenting should not really be about how much you and your child love each other.
love is so so so incredibly important
but you're supposed to be teaching your child to live
and not just to get what it wants
by any means possible
teach it to live and love responsibly
teach it what it means to be honest
teach it that right and wrong are not black and white
teach it that sometimes life hurts but pain helps you grow
teach it that most mistakes are fixable and you shouldn't keep punishing people after they try to be better. you should forgive someone if they really apologize, because not forgiving them causes you just as much or more pain than them.  (and you shouldn't pretend to be a christian if you're not serious about following Christ and forgiving people.)
teach it to learn and grow.
you can't get anywhere without those lessons.
i wish i had learned them earlier in life.
i wish my parents had been better equipped to actually be parents.
but i can't change what happened.
i can't go back and looking back just hurts.
i can only go forward and try not to hurt people in my future
and try to take care of people i meet that are hurt
but that's just  my point of view
