Hello Everyone - hope that you are having good weather. This time of the year we can expect just about any kind of weather.
But that is not so much what I am really concerned about today.

The Lord is coming soon - and soooo many people do not know - or care to know Him.
That is what really concerns me:

I am hoping that some of you will warm up to the Lord this coming year. We need more people helping others find the way to Heaven.

Time is coming to a close - we are living in the end times. Jesus could return anytime.
Things are being set in place for the anti-Christ to take over.

The Rapture can occur at any time.
Are you ready for that? I hope so.
Please do not get left behind.
God loves you - but He will not force anyone to repent of their sins and turn to Him.
Those who do not love the truth are going to be in very big trouble.
I hope that you will not be one of those people who are waiting to put your trust in Christ,
because we can only come to Jesus while God is drawing us. It will be very bad for those who harden their hearts to God.

Fasting can be a definite help to our lives.
Stongholds get broken. The body gets healing and takes a rest from food consumption.
Fasting has many other benefits as well. . .
But fasting can be difficult too - at times.

   The important thing is to be led by the Holy Spirit. Sometimes it is best just to do partial fasting. However, that can even be harder to do than to go without food completely.

    For example, if you love bread, and I do, to eat as usual - but go without having any bread, how hard is that? It is very hard for me to do!

    What kind of fasting works for you?

    Hope your day goes well.
And don't forget to add fasting to your other spiritual disciplines of praying, Bible reading - and studying - going to church etc.

    Well, that is all the time for writing about fasting today. . .

They often tend to rely upon themselves too much.
And when it comes to the spiritual side of life
they tend to remain in darkness and sin.
They do not see any need for a Savior.

For instance,
it is often hard for a "good" person to be saved,
because they do not really see that they need
forgiveness for their sins.
They frequently think that they will be
good enough for Heaven.
But that, dear friend, is one thing we can never be, without
faith in Jesus Christ. We need Him to redeem us.

It takes the shed Blood of Jesus to cleanse us from our sins.
And we can only appropriate what He did for us by faith.
So if you are feeling bad about the sins that you have done,
this is a good thing for you today, because it is the Holy Spirit,
Who is revealing your sins to you.
God commands that we all repent.
So do that today - and get headed the right way.
Confess your sins to my Lord Jesus Christ.
Invite Him to live within your heart.
And you will receive "new spiritual life" from Him.

Soon it will be 2008!

Doesn't seem possible - does it?

Life goes too fast after the children are grown up!

It will be difficult to access a computer for a couple of weeks - after tomorrow. So many events planned - and so many friends and relatives to be with.
That is why I decided to wish you a Happy New Year now!
Please stay safe - and prayerful.
Do not give the enemy a crack in the door - or he will push it wide open and then you will have troubles instead of the blessings that God wants you to have.
If you do not know the Lord Jesus Christ, this is the time to come to faith in Him. There is no other name by which we must be saved.
That is why Jesus came to earth in flesh to be like us in every way, except that He did not sin.
He was born so that He could go through life like one of us and overcome death. Jesus paid the price for our sins. He died and rose again. Without the shedding of His Blood there could be no remission for our sins. I hope that you realize that, friend.
Without Jesus, no one is good enough for Heaven.
But if you have Jesus living in your heart, you have the hope of glory. (Please read Colossians 1:27, and Romans, chapter 8 in the Bible).
Only Jesus can give us "new spiritual life."
But it takes faith in Him, for that to happen.
Make sure now, that you have Jesus living in your heart.
Examine yourself to see if Jesus is dwelling within you.
Those who do not have the Spirit of Christ Jesus -
do NOT belong to Him.
No one else can forgive our sins and get us ready for Heaven.
Jesus is the Author and the Finisher of our faith.
Call upon the Name of Jesus today, and get headed the right way.
Invite Jesus to live within your heart.
Ask His forgiveness for your sins. He is waiting for your invitation.
Hope to meet you someday in Heaven.

If you prayed with faith to Jesus, then He heard your prayer. He will save you, friend. Pray to Him every day. - Now it is very important that you read the Bible often, start in the New Testament, of the Bible. Fellowship with other believers. Pray morning, noon, and night. Strength of character
sends many people away from Heaven.

They rely on their own goodness - or lack of it to get where they are going.

It is the righteousness of Jesus that people need to get into Heaven.
For that to happen we must repent of our sins and put our faith in Him.
No fables about it.
Jesus died and rose again.
He made atonement for our sins on the Cross at Calvary.

No one gets into Heaven without Jesus. - There is no other name by
which we must be saved.
