I don't think many Christians actually believe that Jesus was born on December 25th.
It is a day to celebrate the birth of Christ!
Calendars have changed throughout the ages.
No big deal.
Man-made ideas change too.
But where do you place your faith?

spiritual life. Jesus said that you must be born again.

And I would offer this suggestion - and have seen it work for myself and others through the years:
Cut back on your portion sizes. Start to omit eating between meals.
Yes - do eat salads but with low-fat - or non-fat dressings. Drink lots of water and learn to appreciate it.
And I have lots of other suggestions if you want any more. Hope that you continue to be motivated - adding prayers to your plans will get moving on your behalf also. We all need His daily help to succeed at anything.

Jesus was asking God the Father to forgive those who were mistreating Him - and who would kill Him because they did not realize that they were killing the Son of God.
However, even though Jesus died to make atonement for our sins at Calvary. He was raised again on the third day. Jesus is alive forevermore!
