I would like to apologize for my absence for a week but I really had no say about it, my old Dell computer passed away. I  ordered a new one and it arrived on Tuesday and I spent all day yesterday hooking it up and getting the software updated and then trying to track down all my favorite freeware programs that I had come to rely on. Last night I had a friend over and she made the remark that maybe someone put a curse on me and thats why the computer died. I told her that there was one flaw in her theory and that is that no one can have power over you unless you give them that power. My friend looked at me in a puzzled way and asked me to explain what I had said. Maybe I should explain a little first, my friends name is pam. She used to have a blog on another blog site but she shut it down after a very bad experience with a few bloggers that gave her a very hard time. One blogger had her so scared that anything she said or did had Pam trembling convinced that an evil curse had been placed on her. I told Pam at that time, that one thing witches learn is that no one can have any magickal power over you unless you give it to them. If you are afraid of that person then their power is greater than yours simply because you are allowing it. The only one who has power over you is you. Its that simple. Pam is a magnificent writer and I tried to convince her to start her own blog here, but she had such a bad experience on the other site that I dont think she will ever get over it and will never start another blog. That woman who gave Pam a rough time continues to have power over Pam because Pam has allowed her to alter her way of thinking .  Magick is very easy to understand, but what is even more simple to understand is that no one has power over you or what happens to you unless you grant them that power.   I will be back tomorrow, I just wanted to say hello and to explain what happened and what caused me to be away for a week, it wasnt any curse or bad magick, it was simply an overused and old computer finally moving on to the Summerland.
