now I have read all your post
the answer to this one is yes, I went to many meetings at varous times of my life. I think its a great concept, and I saw alot of people who seemed to overcome this horrible problem, it just did not work for me, but I really think you should try it...I was always going so far away from my house so no one would see me...too crazy...you should try it

some of the people who were in the group, were so "over powering" and made this all deal all consuming, I did not want it to be the focus of my life, I guess I was in denial. I wanted it to just go away. I did not want to do everything I needed to do to be successful with the program.
Now, I know that sounds crazy. You would think I would do anything it took. I would, I thought,
occasionally I thought about going back, it was 3 seperate times over 20 years ago, but then I found welbrutron. Also, there was this bible study thing program I looked into to, sent away for the info and it had something to do with people who suffer with this afflcition and they give it to God, but I could not find a single person to do it with me. You need a group, Trying to get members, I made a joke of it, as I always do with my friends. I said, I can not stop eating m and m's, I have them in my pockets and purses etc. And then they say something like oh I ate so many cookies the other day, but they do not mean the amounts I eat..they are normal overeaters, we arent. I tried a few times to open up, but no one believes its a real problem and I am not willing to let everyone know how crazy I am.
I am not saying this is the right way to be, Its not.
