Dont get it twisted, it is, what it is!

Often i am mistaken as a female who maybe.....thinks too much of herself, or as some would call her, "STUCK UP". I am perceived as the "mean" girl when really that's not the case. I merely......ya know what,forget all that. This was inspired by.....whatever.

*You may see me walking to class, well put together with my books in hand you pause to say hello,
and I reply with a smile
*First party of the year, you see me dancing by myself, and you're wondering who i came with,so you stop by to make conversation, it quickly ends with me declining your drink offer and your phone number with a no thank you
and as i turn to walk away i make sure to ,reply with a smile.
*In the mall you may see me with my friends in toe looking fabulous,flashy,and jazzy too, and you're wondering why you're not part of the SEXY crew. Well hunn i would simply SMILE and say to you.
dont be offended sweetie for its nothing that you do, i just choose my friends wisely and you should too!
*As i am a working girl now, dressed in my all black uniform, waiting tables and serving you, attempting to keep my composure when you start to throw food and become rude. But i quickly came to realize its not me that you're angry with at all. Must have been your boo! That very handsome gentlemen i see sitting with you. Your night was ended the moment i greeted you. Its really not my fault you let your insecurities get a hold on you. Here i am dirty, and covered in food, not at all trying to catch the eye of any dude. Yet you still find room to make for jealousy. Girl concentrate on you, then maybe your man would finally see YOU. For all my hard work and for putting up with your snobbishness, your gentlemen tips me well
and i smile sweetly and reply with a thank you, knowing shortly, you'd be pissed at that too.
Dont be angry at me, because I AM ME!
In your eyes: I am being mean when i smile at you. In your eyes: Im saddity if i dont give my phone number to you. In your eyes: I have to omit being me so that you can be you. Dont be angry at me for the few good looks God gave to me.
They say a smile can make anyone's day! And all i tried to do was...............................
*Give you a smile that day you saw me walking to class
*Kindly say no to your drinks and phone number that night at the party
*Let you know, that day in the mall, love you for you, dont be so quick to look for someone else's acception of you. Then your friends will come.
*Its not always another female, look deep inside you and sort somethings out, then you'll find that guy who truly sees you!
You see, in a handful of the many scenarios i've been in of this sort, the outcome can be viewed as me simply being kind.
SO dont get it twisted. It is, what it is! Me being kind. Me being ME!
