When you walked away that night, I knew it would never again be all right. We were once together in time, but now I can't even find...what we used to be, you're no longer a part of me. You broke my heart, kissing her, leaving me alone, all the things I've shown. I couldn't even see what she meant to you, and then you went and left me for her, what did she do? I can't imagine life without you, now it looks like I'll have to. Does it matter, that my heart is in half? "I can't love, can't think, I can't even laugh." (Christina Turner added that line.) It pains me, makes me sad, what you did, was so bad. I'm hurting beyond even a mere word, but the emotions in my soul, you still have stirred. Why do things have to be this way? Do you enjoy hurting me everyday? When I look at you, I have nothing to say. All I can do, is walk away. If there was ever a time, that you were never on my mind, I'd say that's the end of this, you know what? You're gonna miss my kiss.
