Tears Across My Heart
They fall without fail, like endless, cascading hail, tears form so easily in my eyes, as the air is filled with my painful cries.
I curse the ones who hate you, because what I feel in my heart is true. That's why there are tears across my heart, I've known who you were from the start.
I couldn't hide forever from your embrace, you knew you caused the smile to appear on my face. You made the tears disappear, you caused the feelings in my heart to become clear.
I couldn't ask for a more worthier man, asking too much, anything I need done, you can. I call out your name when I need you here, for when in your arms, I have nothing to fear.
I grab hold of your hand, and hold on tight, made sure you were always in my sight. I had to keep the pain out, the love in, you walk me home, and give me that heart-melting grin.
Taking you seriously, I do that now, because I don't want to have to ask how...you came into my life so sure and fast, but I knew our love was enough to last.
Couldn't stop my heart beating so hard, didn't want to have to put up my guard. For with you, I am so naturally turned on, I don't want to have to think what it will be like when you're gone.
Even when we die, somehow I see, our love continuing through eternity. I'd grace your lips with one last kiss, when you are gone, you'll be the one I love and will always miss.
