Attempts to tell you my feelings, sometimes they go unanswered, so I have to show you in other ways. I'll try not to cry, as my body shivers in the cool night. I wrote you a half dozen poems. Did you read even one? I pray that through the good and the bad we can be there for each other. I hope that you are always around. I would be lost without you. Going through the motions, I pretend that it would be okay if only you were here. I categorize my life, fitting you into every available space. I never want there to be a time when we are fighting. Life is too precious, and we only have a limited time here on earth. So, join me in this everlasting love. I will never leave your side. You will always inspire me, even when I want to give up, I'll think of you and remain strong. I walk into the room, and you take me in your arms.
