I pray for Our Lord's Grace for our society

After a stressful day at work, I had a very stressful drive home. I drive in a very congested area. Everyone must have had an extremely stressful day as the drivers were very rude and inconsiderate of each other. No one would cut another driver a break, drivers were zigzagging dangerously and crossing in front of other vehicles at dangerouly near distances. I am surprised that I did not see an accident.

I pray that Our Lord will bless our society with the grace to start changing. I hope that people will soon see that being courteous to other drivers and people in other situations will make them feel better and will reduce stress. I pray that our society will start seeing that materialism is creating stress and unhappiness. I pray that society will start to revert to a simplier, older way of life, where friendships are more important that material goods. I truly believe that if we live a slower, simplier, less materialistic life that we will see less stress, depression, unhappiness in our society, and will start to appreciate and value other people more.
