I pray for Our Lord's Grace at work

To develop my spirituality, I am praying for Our Lord's Grace. Once again at work, chaos broke out. I work at a Cancer Center which should be all about helping the seriously ill get or cope better with their illness. However, like all other jobs, the staff is overburdened with too much work, too few workers. Our facility dropped new major projects in our laps. The staff all started pointing fingers at each other, saying that the other person does not do as much as they do.

I feel that an unfair portion of the projects dropped onto my desk, but it is my fault as I did not fight as hard as the others. I am worn out from the fighting. I pray that Our Lord will bless me with perserverance, fortitude, and will assist me in accomplishing my heavy load of work. I pray that I will always be mindful of my number one priority -- the welfare of the patients always takes priority over any of the paperwork piling up on my desk.

I pray that Our Lord will help open the eyes of our staff -- guide them to form a more cohesive team that works together so that we can accomplish more good works that we are currently doing.
