| Where's my Valentine? Valentiny Valennone

Now that it's almost Valentines Day I am getting so depressed. Im never a depressed girl but I don't really have a Valentine. I know it's silly but I don't want to be the girl without a date. I'm not going to send myself roses and chocolates to my workplace. But I don't want to be the only girl there that gets nothing.
I think it's because I don't have a steady. Dating does not equal Valentine. I mean I'm not clingy so I'm not going to just tell a guy I just met he should be my Valentine. I've got a gorgeous outfit and everything but I don't have a date.
It's kind of my fault though because I never call back. I go on these awesome dates and he calls me and we make plans and something comes up at work and I disappear. Then I remember him like 2 weeks later and call and he sends me to voicemail. It kind of hurts because I will really like the guy but I shoot myself in the foot.
I even started telling guys you know what I'm just looking to date. Nothing serious. Why did I say that?! I mean I don' want to get married or anything but I think it's ok for me get serious. But my schedule is so packed that I think the only way we'd see each other is if he interned at my job! lolol! Ok that would be wayyy too close for comfort so NO but I keep pushing men away from me. Now I'm all sad about being single. :*(
So Tiff said that she will have a blind date for me and we'll do the double date thing but I am not interested! I love Tiff but she sets me up with the most undesirable men! I mean they are completely not my type. You should have seen the last guy she set me up with. ewww. But who knows maybe I will. Shawn has a date and I know he's going to like go all out with a luxury suite and limo ride or something. He is weirdly romantic that way . I am so rolling my eyes. lol.
Off subject Chris Martin is so hot. He is especially sexy in person. He's taller than he looks on tv to me. LIke over 6 ft. Gwenyth is a lucky woman. I just started thinking about him because back home a few years back I remember fantasizing about him being my Valentine! lmao. Even when I met him I completely forgot about the ridiculous crush I had on him. silly girl.
But I guess we'll see what happens this holiday. Hearts and Roses and Chocolates and all. I don't think I'm going through with the blind date but maybe a guy from my past will call? I really hope that it's not with just anybody. I'm picky about stuff like this.

Hey shannon, Ok even though I didn't get chocolates or roses at my workplace I was not the only one so nobody really noticed lol.
I did not go on the blind date but whats weird is he cancelled on me! I made such a fuss with Tiff I think gotten the hint. But I was relieved when he told her at the last minute that he couldn't go. But I went speed dating later. :P ONLY because an old gf of mine has been wanting to go forever and didn't want to go alone. It was like a post-Valentines Speed date. It was actually not a bad experience with my schedule maybe I will have to speed date all the timeLOL. Anyways yeah you want a funny story I should tell you about the last guy Tiff set me up with it was horrible. Mais Cest La Vie!! :P
