A strange though occurred to me today :  Who washes their legs in the shower?

Until I started cycling seriously, I never specifically  washed my legs unless they were particularly dirty. I used to just assume the water running down them from the general shower stream was adequate to keep them clean enough for them to appear in society.

But now, I get grease, dirt, mud and all sorts of muck on them when I ride my bike, so they need special cleaning attention, haha.

Today I went for a ride with a friend from work - rode over 40km with a stop off for some bakery treats on the way. It's been years since I've had a vanilla custart slice from a bakery :)

Lucky we went riding this morning though, cos now it's absolutely bucketing down outside! I think the drought we've endured the past 4 or so years is well and truely on its way to being broken. I just hope the rain disappears in 2 weeks time when I go to the beach for a week holiday with my parents and sister (sooo looking forward to it!) It will be strange though, because it's been almost 4 years since I've lived with my parents, so I hope they'll let me do my own thing (I am 25 afterall :).

Still doing more drawing this afternoon- currently working on an anchor and rope - very traditional - for my nautical themed page.
