Hello to my blog friends. As gtownmom enquired recently, yes, I am doing fine, just been busy putting together a portfolio of my drawings to have a crack at a tattooing apprenticeship. So that's why I haven't been around much.

I went into a tatt shop near my house last week and asked how I'd go about getting an apprenticeship. He suggested I make a portfolio and bring it in to him to have a look at so he could give me some tips which I thought was pretty nice of him.

I've also been getting together some more art supplies (I LOVE stationary stuff!!) and also some books to use as reference material for my drawings. There was a charity book sale in my town last weekend where they literally have over 1 million books for sale starting from 20c. My husband and I went and spent a total of $20 and I got 12 books :)

I spent a good hour cleaning our laundry today, making it look the best it's been since we moved in here 4 years ago. We don't really make it dirty, it's my little cat that does- she's the messiest cat I've ever had!

I have the whole month of February off from work which I REALLY need- am having a crisis of heart about my job (ie. I'm currently hating it). I'm going up to the beautiful Sunshine Coast for a week to stay with my family in a unit they've booked out. So it will be a week of swimming, surfing, cycling, relaxing and drawing for me. Can't wait!

Well I best get back to my drawing - working on a page of black and grey designs at the mo.
