In all my excitement about the rain happening here, I forgot to write about my intentions/ambitions of learing the art of tattooing!

I've already taken some steps towards learning how to tattoo: I've signed up for an online course in how to tattoo. It might not be any good, but you never know...It goes for 6 months and will be a series of videos you download and work through at your own pace.

I've also started drawing a lot more to get my skills up. I've been practicing colouring, shading and drawing tattoo-like things. I find it really relaxing and a good way to fill in time. I've also been reading, reading, reading anything I can get my hands on about tattooing and the whole process.

My course starts on Jan 7 and even though I'm trying not to get my hopes set too high, I am excited!

The next step for me will be to get a tattooing kit. I've seen quite a few comprehensive kits on ebay and other tattoo supply sites. I know that they're only a very basic setup and probably don't use the highest quality machines, but it's a start for a beginner like me! They even come with some practice skin, so you don't have to practice on your friends, lol.
