Smoke Detectors on 2007-12-07 14:23:25 |
|
My smoke detectors are partial to hot air, not smoke or steam...ANYTIME I cook toast on a mildly cold morning, the hot air generated by the toaster rises, and slowly travels to the other side of the room where my detector sits. It takes about the same time for me to place spread on my toast, walk into the next room, sit down and start to eat my toast. THEN it goes beserk! Evil little thing...

I've also added a "100 best dance hits of the 90's" to my MP3 player as a guilty pleasure to re-live my childhood/early teenage years :)

My Dr's surgery is the same with people trying not to touch and a TV at that low volume. The Dr is ALWAYS at least 30mins behind, so I take my own book to read now. At least that way I can tune out the coughing/sneezing/sniffling noises around me :)

Very, very, entertaining, Gtown! Such passion :) From reading your post it seems to me like us breathers complain a lot more than the smokers who, granted, have sacrificed a fair bit to appease us and our desire to breathe.
Now what about the inbred people multiplying at a rate faster than rabbit, using EVERYONE'S tax money for their free houses and food...and... who also smoke? They must need to be a sub-category all of their own.
I think we will have to agree to disagree on this one :)
