So I have discovered that I am quite the chef if I want to be... It had been a while since I took the effort to cook anything different, however in the last few days I have went to the extra effort to do so. I also have to admit that I am a huge fan of cooking when I have all sorts of fresh vegetables. Which as of late we have had a plethora of.
Yesterday I was like housewife extraordinaire. I came home and cooked garden fresh homemade mashed potatoes, garden fresh green beans w/ onions, French fried onion encrusted chicken, and fresh baked bread. All this was waiting on the table when my husband walked in the door still pippin hot! (*pats self on back*) :-D! I was quite proud of myself!
Not to mention I cleaned the whole house, and actually throughout the night did the dishes four times! (We def need to invest in a dishwasher! :) )
Then tonight my friend J and I made kabobs, corn on the cob, and potatoes on the grill. I mastered the kabobs and they were bomb! :) Better yet I grilled it!!! I admit it has been a LONG time since I have ever used the grill, so I wasn't sure if any of it would turn out too well.
I guess this is just another example of all I can do on my own. D is one lucky man! :)
Things must be going better for me these days because I don't really have much to vent about on here, which is great! :)
Well that is all for today, I had to blog something or my day didn't quite feel compelte!
