I just got done reading a lot of the recent postings, and I noticed there are a lot of us on this site looking for pretty much the same things.
We want to vent, we want to cry, we want to laugh, and we want to die.
Then it just slapped me upside the head: all we really want is for someone to share these thoughts with.
Everyone of us are reaching out to the world in order to fill that spot that remains empty.
That need for acredidation that we exist.
I hope that you are reading like me, and hearing what I am hearing, and most of all feeling what I am feeling.
I'm sure that not everyone will react the same as I when you read what others have posted here, but I do hope that we all read with a bit of compassion in our hearts.
There are a lot of sad stories being laid out before us, and it is my hope that for every story, there will be someone who might reachout and lend a kind ear to those who are in need of a friend.
Sometimes we can completely alter one another with just a moment of sincerity.
At other times someone may just need a knock upside our head in order to bring us back to reality. There are also those times that we just need someone else to cry with.
It certainly isn't costing us anything to reachout and lend a hand.
There are many here among us that can really make a difference in someone else's life, and to not do so would be a tradgedy.
You have no-idea how much many of you have come to mean to me, and I hope that you are being just as helping to others that I don't even know yet.
You and I have all had to suffer from time to time, but by touching one another, we can ease eachothers pains.
This has been a good place for me to come.
It makes me aware of how really small my problems are.
If we can take some of what we say here into our daily lives, then the problems we face can be dealt with in a much easier way.
It's become so obvious to me that only kindness, compassion, and understanding is going to save this world as all the ways of the past have been such grand failures.
This hate that we all inflict upon eachother will only serve to bring us all to the end.
There is no disputing the fact, that what we have done in the past will not work for the future, and to continue to doing the same as we always have will undoubtedly bring about our demise.
There is only a given amount of resourses available for all the people of the world, and if we don't change the way we use them, well then it's only a matter of time before there will be none for anyone.
This not only applies to our resourses for living, but also those that we need for loving.
We need to get rid of the idea that we can get by with only satisfying our own needs.
The signs are here now.
There will be no earth left for the children that have to follow.
We can't keep teaching them to consume evrything you want.
It's our responsibility to teach them how to give more than they receive.
The hippy's of the sixties, the comunists that still exist, and even the people of the third world nations have all become capitolistic.
Look at what mother nature is showing us.
look at the wars that still persist.
Look at the way our families are no-longer together.
Can't we all see that what the bible has said is true.
We are killing ourselves slowly, but what we do everyday is getting compounded to the point that humans are not much longer going to be able to exist at all.
So our paths are clear and it's way past time to study the problem.
It is my opinion that we either act now or the will be nothing we will be able to do.
