 BACK INTO THE REALL WORLD!

Hello World !
Like I have already written to some of my close friends, I am just now feeling up to being on the computer.
Most of you probably don't know or care, that I had another back surgery on Monday.
Can you believe that the pain medication pump was not working after the surgery and finally at ten o'clock at night I couldn't take it anymore, so I left the hospital and came home where I still had a supply of my pain pills.
I couldn't believe when my wife was driving us up the driveway, but there were four small cottontails that wouldn't get out from infront of our car.
I could only think that they were giving me an escort home. LOL
It's Nov 18th and deer hunting season has been open for 3 days. I can't hunt right now, but I did watch out my back window to see two young bucks crossing our now empty corn field. The best part about it was not just the beauty of the deer, but the laugh I got when I saw the neighbor guys walking all over their woods looking for those two bucks. LOL
Today I managed to go outside with my wife and dogs for a short walk. It was pretty uncomfortable for me, and I had to quit early. but I took the time to l;ook out the window just in time to see my wife yelling at two of my three dogs running across the cornfield right where those bucks  had gone earlier. LOL
I really shouldn't laugh, because my wife was trying her best to get the dogs under control, but they wanted nothing to do with her!
I had to get in my jeep and drive across my now furrowed fields back to the neighbors woods to repremand my mutts. LOL
My poor wife was trogging across the field and now our old fat beagle was doing his best to stay up with his mommy.
I did a little bit of searching and yelling to get my dogs back home, and as soon as they saw the jeep, they finally went running home with their tails between their legs.
I drove over to my wife to give her a ride back up to the house, and though she did get a short ride. I had to let her out so that she could get our poor, fat, near sighted beagle back to his home.
So all in all, even though my back has been giving me some real problems, I had a wonderful day!
Thanks to all of you who have been so kind as to take me on as a friend, you are a great bunch of people on this web site!

                                                                                            LOVE & PEACE,
                                                                                                John

My wife has a lot of arthritis problems and gets cortizone shots in her hips and back so I know how difficult your recovery must be. She will probably end up getting operations too. Good luck.

Hospitals can be dangerous and quite unpleasant places.
I've had 2 back surgeries and a cervical fusion surgery so can certainly relate to what you're feeling.
It sounds like you live in a wonderful place. Hope you feel much better soon.
Take Care,
Senior Lady
