true this=D Pot comes from a plant. It was not brewed up in a
lab in your basement, nobody created it. it was put on the earth
as a leaf. and I do indeed believe it was meant to be. Besides, I
have never heard of nobody dying from a overdose. happy

Ok look at it this way. When I was younger cannabis was
cannabis. People got laid back and giggly *-D People with
arthritis seemed to take it as pain relief *-) Many of the 1968
generation, that's your politicians of today, would've tried it
and would've inhaled. A lot of the UK cabinet had admitted this -
although the hypocritical UK press has required them to say they
regret it. But the drugs market is unregulated and you cannot
control what's in the product. So now what's out there is
super-strong, what was called skunk back in the day. And the
effects are different and in some cases the direct opposite of
the old style marijuana: Greater paranoia %o Violence
:-'T Depression :-( So I would've thought yes 10 years ago (in
order to stop the move onto harder drugs that dealing with
dealers can bring), now I'm clear it should be illegal. For the
record arsenic is also a natural substance. So is hemlock, and
tobacco. Just cos it's natural doesn't make it a good thing.

I completely agree with rose22, and anyone who has dealt with the
negative effects on people close to them taking it would agree
to. This is one of those never ending debates where both sides
make valid points, but I think until we know more about it, it
should be illegal.

Well, I had a friend burn himself to death. He had issues and
smoked. Whether or not that influenced him to suicide, I don't
know but probably did. Either way, I've never had a problem
with it. I'd say keep it illegal, then it's not subject to
tax!!! Also, I really don't care if it's legal or not, it makes
no difference to my attitude to it! As Peter Tosh sang, legalize
it and I will advertise it!

It's a plant. Plus you never hear of someone gettin high and
beating their wife. The only reaosn it's not legal is because the
government can't tax it.
