| Today's topic: The Silver Lining |
Through all the trials of the past year I am constantly trying to remind myself that there is a silver lining somewhere in that cluster of very dark clouds.
Here are my silver linings today.
1) Today I managed to make the hour and a half commute safely to and from the world's worst temp job. (that's right... temp job. I have been out of real work for almost a year)
2) I had my handsome son waiting for me when I arrived home AND he was cooking dinner. It was pretty good too :)
3) I woke up once again next to my best friend and extremely supportive husband like I have everyday for the past 5 years.
4) I have spoken with all of my children at least once today. They are all happy and healthy. (Including my grandchild who is due to arrive next spring)
5) The pineapple plant that I sprouted about a month ago is still alive.
6) Only 2 more days to Friday
7) I have submitted my 5 daily resumes at this time.
That is all I have right now. I know.... I had to look pretty hard to find a couple of them, but they are there. Tomorrow will go a little better hopefully. In the meantime I am determined to fine a job that fits me.
