Hi,
Never done this before, so excuse me, either when starting a Blog, i presume one is having a grat day they want to share with the world, or an absolutely crap moment, so sorry, but today, which isn't really like me, mine is the later in this case.
I was up unable to sleep at 1am this morning, the reason being, my 9yr old is playing up at school, he is my 6th, after 18yrs of having kids at school, he is the only one that has made me collect him early and constantly given teachers jip.
He was fine until he had to leave his previous school last July due to a fellow pupil deciding that was the day my son should be stabbed, the head teacher tried sweeping it under the carpet, and it did stay under the carpet till same said child decided he would take wire to school and garrot (notsure on the spelling), my son instead, when my son jumped the fence and came home in a state. At a meeting a few days later, it emerged these weren't the only incidents this child tried to hard my son, and tried to get another to aswell.
If a child bumps his head at school, he comes home with a sticker telling that, i was pissed off as the school didn't have any stickers saying "today someone tried to kill or seriously injure me" Needless to say, with the local education and the police being totally on the side of the head, i withdrew him from school, now my son is using his new school and missing his old school as an excuse to cry "victim of the year, i am so sad" as an excuse for his bad behaviour at his new school.
He was never bad at his school, but really can't return there, he is finding it hard to settle at the new one, which is sad as its lovely, so are the staff and the children.
Well thats the end of my moan for now, its Friday, the fridge is starving, and the supermarket beckons
more soon, on a brighter note

Yes, a garrote is (an instrument) used to strangle someone, so it was a pretty violent threat.

I wish I knew how to help. Fortunately I haven't experienced anything like that with my sons but my oldest starts a new school next year and I'm worried. I'm surprised the school where the incident happened reacted the way it did. Again, I am sorry and I really wish I had some advice. Welcome to the site.

That's a terrible thing to happen to your son, and you. I know as a parent you feel everything double when someone tries to harm one of your children. Be patient with your son, I'm sure you show him love. He will do better once he learns to trust those at his new school. I wish you well.
